Woman after a 'mounjaro makeover'

Why ‘Mounjaro Makeovers’ Have Become So Popular

You’ve done the hard part. You’ve lost the weight and stuck at it, and the scales finally show the number you wanted.

When you look in the mirror, though, the loose skin is still there.

That’s the reason so many people are now asking us about ‘Mounjaro makeovers’.

At Reflect Clinic, we help patients finish the job their weight loss started.

If you’d like a straight answer about whether a ‘Mounjaro makeover’ is right for you, call our Clinic Manager, Jayne, on 07434572794 or email hello@reflectclinic.co.uk.

She’ll answer your questions and talk you through the next steps, with no pressure.

After Weight Loss Jabs

Mounjaro, Ozempic and other GLP-1 medicines have changed weight loss in the UK.

They’re popular because they work. Many people are losing more weight, more quickly, than they ever managed through diet alone.

Skin doesn’t always keep up.

After a big weight loss, it can stay stretched and saggy, much like a tarp that’s lost the load it was covering. Common problem areas include:

  • The tummy, where an overhang of skin can rub, sweat and get sore
  • The upper arms
  • The inner thighs
  • The chest or breasts, which can drop or lose volume
  • The face and neck

Many of our patients tell us they feel deflated.

They’ve put in months of effort and still don’t feel comfortable in a T-shirt or on the beach.

That frustration is why ‘Mounjaro makeovers’ have taken off.

What Is a ‘Mounjaro Makeover’?

A ‘Mounjaro Makeover’ is a combination of cosmetic surgeries planned around your body.

It removes excess skin, refines your shape and helps your outside match the hard work you’ve put in.

You choose the combination that suits you:

  • Body: a tummy tuck, liposuction for stubborn areas, and skin tailoring to the arms and/or thighs
  • Breasts: a breast uplift, breast implants, implant exchange or breast reduction
  • Face: a facelift or eyelift

The tummy is the area we treat most often, usually with a full tummy tuck.

Because several areas can be treated in one trip to theatre, you get one recovery period instead of several.

That’s a big reason ‘Mounjaro makeovers’ appeal to people who can’t afford to keep taking time off.

A Real Patient: Deby’s Story

Deby is 60, runs her own business and lives in Hale Barns, Cheshire.

After losing a lot of weight, she was left with loose skin around her arms, tummy and thighs.

Her biggest question at her consultation was about recovery time, because she had a business to run. After meeting our surgeon, she said she felt “reassured this would finally give me the shape I was after.”

Her advice to anyone thinking about it is simple: “Do your research and ask lots of questions so that you feel like you’re fully informed of the risks and benefits.”

Why People Trust Reflect Clinic

Your surgery is carried out by Mr Gerard Lambe, an experienced cosmetic surgeon who meets you in person and plans your procedure himself.

He’ll tell you honestly what can and can’t be achieved.

We have over 500 reviews across Google, IWantGreatCare and Trustpilot.

You can read what our patients say on our Trustpilot reviews page.

What to Expect: Time Off and Recovery

This is major surgery, so it’s important to plan properly. Here are the main points:

  • Surgery time: 2 to 3.5 hours
  • Hospital stay: 1 night
  • Time off work: 2 to 3 weeks for desk-based jobs. If your job is physical, you may need longer or a lighter role for a while.
  • No driving: about 2 weeks
  • No exercise: about 8 weeks
  • Support garments: 6 to 8 weeks
  • No heavy lifting while you heal

You’ll need help from family or friends for at least the first week.

Mr Lambe also asks patients to spend at least 15 minutes on their feet every 2 hours while awake, which lowers the risk of blood clots.

Cost and Finance

‘Mounjaro makeovers’ at Reflect Clinic start from £12,000, with a £250 consultation fee.

The price is fully inclusive, so there are no hidden charges.

It covers your anaesthetic, medicines, equipment and aftercare, including two follow up appointments with Mr Lambe.

You don’t have to pay it all at once. We work with Chrysalis Finance, so you can spread the cost into monthly payments, with 0% options available.
