Drum roll….

Well here at Reflect, we’ve been keeping details of our wonderful Mounjaro Makeover surgery patient under wraps!

The Press around the country have published the story which is centred around the weightloss journey that our patient, Deby Allison-Thomas, has taken from using a gastric band, dieting, exercise and finally Mounjaro jabs, to get to her dream body weight.

She went from size 20 to size 10, which is impressive, but after this rapid weight loss, she was left with excess skin on her thighs, hanging skin on her arms, her breasts had dropped, and her stomach skin needed tightening. No matter how hard she tried, this was never going to go naturally.

As she’d been to us in the past, she decided she trusted Mr Lambe at Reflect Clinic to perform her surgery!

After asking our Clinic Manager Jayne did we have any suitable patients for a case study and photoshoot, she immediately thought of Deby and so we pulled out all the stops to make her feel fantastic after such a long weightloss journey.

It’s called a ‘Mounjaro Makeover’ and it has become popular because of the sheer number of people who have benefitted from Mounjaro, Ozempic and other GLP1s (or other weightloss drugs) which have swept the world and gone mainstream from A List Hollywood celebrities to your next door neighbour!

 

Photogenic

I have to say that Deby is particularly photogenic and so I knew the photos would turn out well and so with much planning we booked a morning at a Photo Studio in Manchester to get our proof!

Just look at Deby modelling in her cut out orange swimsuit and you can see that she has a new found body confidence, that she’s been missing for years!

We think you will agree, that there aren’t many women of any age who would bravely be photographed in their swimwear, so we are delighted for her.

 

Behind the Scenes

I was delighted to put the finishing touches on Deby’s journey, so organised a photoshoot with all the best in the business, with Armand Beasley (Presenter, Actor, Columnist at Cheshire Life amongst his many skills) perfecting her natural and evening makeup looks (and even using his own vegan skincare products Pro Body Gl0w); Aga Mortlock (our favourite photographer) ;to her “PA for the day” (our Clinic Manager!) Jayne, to a top photographer, PR specialist Collette Walsh, and last but not least, Marketing Director me!

Deby brought her personal hairdresser Mark K along for the day too.

Manchester Studio

Here’s a wide shot of dress in one of her own designs at We Are Curves and she owns a number of businesses, including Mizu bathroom showroom, based in Hale, Cheshire.

It’s so great to see her confidence improved!
