Why did you have cosmetic surgery?
I was not feeling confident, I had chronic back pain, saggy skin and diastasis-recti after childbirth.
What research did you do before booking?
A lot! I had GP & NHS input, did on-line research and had lots of conversations with the Consultant and Clinic Manager.

Any tips for anyone thinking of having this surgery?
Have it! Especially if you had a diastasis-recti and constant lower back pain. This literally went overnight from having my op. It is the best thing that I have ever done and the recovery was fine.
How was your recovery? What did you expect and how was it different?
Great, I recovered really well. I had a couple of parts in my scar that did not heal very well and broke down, yet even with that I thought it was an amazing recovery. I was walking and up to the loo a couple of hours after surgery, standing straight almost after a week. Mr Lambe and the team were amazing, dealing with my wounds that struggled to heal, dressing changes, really good support – I had total confidence in Mr Lambe all the way through.
How was your aftercare experience? What helped?
Brilliant. Jayne was just a text message away if I needed any help or advice. Nurses, medical team & Mr Lambe were outstanding!
