You may have read about our inspirational eyelift patient Susie Sprigg this week in the press as she has kindly shared her journey and reasons why she chose to have her Upper Eyelift surgery.
I first met Susie at one of her networking events in Altrincham and little did I know then that she would be interested in an upper eyelift as she was hiding her eyes behind her glasses.
I also didn’t know that she had sadly lost her husband in a tragic accident and was so sorry to hear that.
Manchester Evening News
This week her full story appeared in the Manchester Evening News online and if you were lucky enough to get a paper copy on Monday, 3 August 2026, let me know as I would love to see it on paper!
‘Losing my husband aged me by 20 years – now I finally recognise myself again’
Susie Sprigg says other women in her position should allow themselves to do the same thing’
Susie Sprigg is based in Stockport and is a networker, events organiser for female businesses and a serial entrepreneur.

Benefits of an Upper Eyelift
We are often asked about our Upper Blepharoplasty surgery, more often known as an Eyelift or Upper Eyelift and we can safely say that this is one of the best value procedures and has a few benefits
- It “opens up” your eyes so they appear wider
- Your eyes look younger and some patients have reported back that people have said they look “20 Year’s Younger!”
- You can look less tired and more refreshed as a “heavy lidded” appearance is removed
Why have an Upper Eyelift?
Patients often complain that they look tired or older than their years or perhaps a friend or relative has remarked that they look tired when they are not, so they would like their face to match their mood or how they feel.
Heavy lids are often hereditary and we have operated on siblings and both Mothers and Daughters, People sometimes say that their makeup and eyeshadow moves around on their eyes or is lost in the folds of their upper eyelid which can be an annoying problem when you want to look your best, especially if you hace a big occasion coming up and there will be a lot of photos taken to remember the day including weddings, being Mother of the Bride or even a big birthday.
Upper Eyelift Cost
The price of an Upper Eyelift with Reflect Clinic is a set fee of £3995, so please contact our Clinic Manager, Jayne, who will be able to book you in for your initial consultation with Mr Lambe.
Dawn Ward’s Eyelift
We also have a great back catalogue of happy patients including doyenne Dawn Ward of The Real Housewives of Cheshire fame.
