It’s still only January and Mr Lambe and Reflect Clinic have been in the news a lot, commenting on how cosmetic surgery requests and results have changed in the past few months, suggesting a trend towards natural looking breast implants, where you simply cannot tell the difference between naturally grown breasts and natural-looking breast enlargement surgery.
Gone are the days of pneumatic breasts, made famous by Pamela Anderson, Katie Price and Victoria Beckham and we are now in the era of the natural looking breast implants which are placed below the muscle (which is especially good for women who have a low bmi so are very slim), to get the natural effect they dream of.

Celebrities are increasingly being asked to “come clean” on what plastic surgery they have had and it’s only in recent years that celebrities have told the truth on what cosmetic surgery they have had, as before now there was a taboo about confirming any plastic surgery in order to keep the celebrity mystique.
Kim Kardashian led the trend and as the general public become increasingly more well informed and ask more questions of how they too could achieve “the look” of their favourite celeb, then it is now possible for every day women, which we are all for if it increases their confidence and they have it done safely and with knowledge of the risks and appreciation of what results they can realistically expect.

It’s also worth noting that there are now huge numbers of women who have taken weight loss medications and injections and after they have lost sometimes a few stone in weight, then they are left with a residue of skin which they then would like removed to get the best bikini body, so we now do arm lifts (for bingo wings), thigh lifts, breast uplifts with or without breast implants and tummy tucks.
